The regional abiotic components (physical) are described based on the information available from the literature and knowledge of those involved in Jalapão Region Ecological Corridor Project planning and implementation. Stands out as a reference in Funatura diagnosis of Preliminary studies to support the creation of protected areas in Biome Cerrado, the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), the National Water Agency (ANA), geographic data and official national climate Data http://www.worldclim.org/ site. Together these sources allowed the characterization for the regional study area. The development of studies, the characterization was complemented by considerations from environmental analysts who have worked in the region, aiming to increase the areas of diagnosis and establish guidelines for their conservation.
