Resumo
The results of the taxonomic studies of benthic mollusks obtained from different types of shifting substrates are informed: calcareous algas and organogenis sediments dragged during the "Victor Hensen" operation off the coastal area from Fernando de Noronha Islands. The analysis of 1536 specimens, made possible to identify 147 species corresponding to 104 genera and to 45 families of Gastropoda and Bivalvia. The material was collected with the support of the german navy and the Departament of Fishery of the Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco. Lacuna cleicecabralae Barros, 1994; Eulimastoma weberi (Morrison, 1965) and Microeulima sp. are new records to this region, thus enlarged the number of the living species in the South Atlantic, including a new record to the genus Microeulima Warén, 1992.
