The implementation of the Ecological Corridor comes from the negotiating efforts among the Union, States and Municipalities and allows government environmental organizations, counterpart institutions, and community representatives and to work together in order to strengthen the protected areas management, environmental council structuring, create programs for valuing the social diversity and environmental products and services, provide support to landowners and community representatives on planning and better use of the land and natural resources, assist in the annotation and legal reserves management, support the permanent preservation areas restoration, among other important activities to strengthen the sustainable development at a regional level.
